Over the past couple of weeks we’ve had our dairy stock judging competition.

Thank you to the Dawe family for hosting us for our first practice, the Sampson family for letting us host the second practice and Dave Butland for training us and finally a thank you to Andrew Hoskin for hosting the final and Phill Blowey for judging the final.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to our Easter bingo last weekend. And also to all of our members who came along to help out with refreshments etc.

We raised £637 which is going towards the money we are raising for Yellow wellies, The mustard tree cancer support centre and club funds.

Last week some of our members headed to the Exchange in Ivybridge for our group darts and pool final.

Pool against Totnes YFC. We unfortunately lost to them coming 2nd place in group.

Darts against all 6 other clubs in the South Dartmoor YFC group. We entered 2 teams for the darts and ended up coming 1st and 2nd place and qualifying for County finals in the Waie Inn. So a huge congratulations to all of the members who took part in playing 🏆🏆

Last week some of our members went to the Westward Inn in Ivybridge to play skittles against Ivybridge YFC.

A massive well done to our members who won with the end score of 232-173 to Tavistock 🏆

A huge thank you to Hamblys for putting on an amazing evening for our members. Along side Lewdown YFC, Launceston YFC & Callington YFC.

It was a very educational evening where members learnt a lot about what they do to help farmers, what their team does on a day to day and the history of CLAAS.

The team put on a brilliant presentation and great spread of refreshments for us all. Plus they made up lovely boxes of goodies for everyone to take home.

Around £3,500 Raised - Thank You! 🪴

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Tavistock YFC Charity Dung Sale has raised around £3,500! Thanks to your incredible support, we delivered just under 1,000 bags and 13 bulk loads of dung across the area. 💩🌷

A huge thank you to the Littlejohns family, Hill family, and Geake family for supplying the dung, and to our amazing members for all their hard work bagging and delivering it— your efforts made this possible! 🚜👨‍🌾

All proceeds will go to Yellow Wellies, Mustard tree cancer support centre & Tavistock YFC club funds-thank you to everyone who contributed and supported us this year! 🚜🪻
