Evening everyone our chairman is looking for any female veterans or partners of female veterans who would be prepared to write a few paragraphs about their service for a special project showcasing female veterans during armed forces week.
All stories will only have first name attached and a photo if you agree to that. These will all be displayed in The Helping Hand Cafe who are working with our chairman to hi light females that have served or are serving. We are hoping that this could lead onto something bigger where we could start a group for support in our great town or just a cuppa every so often.

Today the branch held a memorial service to remember all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in Operation Telic. We are very proud to have Anthony Frith as a member of our branch who spoke very eloquently about his time served in Iraq. It was also lovely to have Bridie Spicer and Chris spicer at the service.

15 years on, we pause to remember Operation Telic and the lives lost in Iraq.
On Sunday, we are holding a remembrance service at St Editha's Church at 2pm.
