A HUGE HARVEST THANK YOU!

As our Harvest collections come to an end, we want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all the local churches, schools, businesses and individuals who have supported Tamworth Foodbank this Harvest. 💚

Your generosity, kindness and support make such a difference to local people and families facing difficult times. Every donation, whether big or small, helps us continue providing emergency food and essential supplies to those who need us.

🌟 A very special thank you goes to our amazing Foodbank warehouse team! 🌟

Over recent weeks, they have been working five days a week, collecting, unloading, sorting and organising the huge amount of donations that have come in. It takes an incredible amount of time, hard work and dedication to get everything ready for our service users, and we are so grateful for all they do.

To everyone who has donated, organised a collection, helped transport supplies or given their time and energy — we couldn't do it without you! ❤️

Behind every visit to a food bank is a story.

Job loss, illness, rising costs, relationship breakdowns, or something completely unexpected. You never know what someone might be facing.

Nobody should have to need a food bank to afford the essentials. Together, we can change that 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated to us for this year’s Harvest collection.
This Harvest, we're reminded that when communities come together, amazing things happen.
Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported our collection. Your generosity is helping people access the support they need today, while we work towards a future without the need for food banks 💚🌾

We're running low on tents and sleeping bags. Could you please share this post?

Looking ahead to the colder months

While it's still summer, we're already preparing for autumn and winter, when many people facing homelessness need extra support. Equipment is cheaper and more available to purchase during the Summer.

We're looking to stock up on:

1 or 2 person tents
New sleeping bags
Roll mats

These essential items help us support people who come to Tamworth Foodbank with nowhere safe to sleep. Having supplies ready before the weather turns means we can respond quickly when they're needed most.

If you're able to donate any of these items, we'd be incredibly grateful. Every donation could make a real difference to someone facing a difficult time.

Donations can be dropped off during our opening hours at Manna House, Glascote Road.

Thank you for helping us support some of the most vulnerable people in our community. ❤️
