We want to thank the patrons of Silchester Players for their donations during the bucket collection at each of the amazing performances of their 2026 panto “Bunfight at the OK Corral”.

You helped us to raise a whopping £917 for The Olibob Arts Foundation. This will enable us for example to fund over 5 full time bursaries at the local Youth Drama Group we support. We will of course claim Gift Aid from HMRC which will add another £229 to your donations 😀

We also wish to thank the entire Cast and Crew, and especially Director Alan Birdsworth for their part in this fund raiser.

Win a holiday in North Yorkshire to help The Olibob Arts Foundation

For only £5 a ticket you can win a week-long (7 night) stay in a 3-bedroom holiday cottage in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, worth £800!

The raffle winner will be drawn on 22nd March. What’s more, we’re limiting the raffle to just 500 tickets to increase your chances of winning.

The prize has been kindly offered by one of our lovely patrons and is available for the week of Friday 2nd October to Friday 9th October.

The Olibob Arts Foundation is proud to announce a donation of a £4,500 grant to the Corn Exchange in Newbury to fund youth theatre projects. This follows previous grant awards to the Corn Exchange for youth projects and represents a continuing commitment to support this vital area of their work.

We were absolutely honoured again to receive a £750 donation from Basingstoke Camera Club. Our chair of trustees, Sue, gave a presentation after receiving the donation to talk about the impact of our recent grants, and about the latest recipient of The Olibob Award.

A big thank you to Silchester Country Fayre for allowing us to run a fund raising stall at the fete on Saturday. Thanks to all the wonderful folks who stopped by, we raised £343.50 from our fun wine game and the sale of books and DVDs. All proceeds will go to the charity funds.

We have to call out the wonderful members of the United Reformed Church in Tadley for lending us one of their Gazebos again this year, and to the special friends who donated items for our stall.

The Olibob Arts Foundation will be running a fundraising stall at the Silchester Country Fayre on 6th September (11am to 4pm). Please do come along to support us and to ask us about the latest grants and awards we have provided to support young people.

We're really excited to let you know that The Olibob Arts Foundation will be running a charity fundraising stall at the Tadley Treacle Fair this Sunday 1st June. Please do call in and say hello, and to support us. We're raising funds to provide grants to help young people to develop key life skills through the performing arts. You will have the chance to win some wine or to buy some books at great prices.
