We’re bursting with Christmas cheer! 🤩 Today is the big hamper delivery day, and the energy has been incredible!

A massive thank you to the amazing students and staff in the Lodge at for helping us make this happen! At SAMS, we believe in hope, justice, and compassion, and seeing these values come to life through this project is truly inspiring.

These hampers are going to bring a big smile to those who receive them, but what we love even more is the impact of giving! Witnessing our students embrace compassion has been wonderful—it proves that giving is great for our mental health!

The Table Project! 💛
We’ve loved serving alongside our fantastic volunteers and getting to know new families from across our community.

Half-terms can bring real challenges — whether that’s financial pressure or just finding ways to keep the kids busy — so we partnered with TLG and worked with local schools to invite families who might benefit most from a warm meal, fun activities, and a welcoming space to connect.

It’s been a beautiful reminder of what community looks like — laughter, shared meals, and genuine friendship. 🍽️✨
We can’t wait to see The Table Project continue to grow and to welcome even more people into the SAMS family. 💛

I can hardly believe how this weekend came together. 💛

From the first baton handover to the final pedal stroke, hope was alive in every smile, every cheer, every stride. Children ran with joy and determination, lifting each other up as we looped playgrounds, connected schools, and united our community through something far bigger than a relay.

Even the rain couldn’t dampen the spirit — five schools joined together on Friday as IronSam completed a marathon, cheered on by children who believed they could make a difference. Then on Saturday, our community came together again at Sainsbury’s, pedalling side by side to reach a staggering 255 miles — the relay teams even beat IronSam by 5 miles! 🚴‍♀️🔥

But the real victory isn’t in the miles. It’s in the hope we’ve ignited — the funds raised will help transform the lives of children and young people across our community, offering support, safety, and a future filled with possibility.

We’ve already raised over £5,000 — absolutely incredible! — and more stories, moments, and videos from the weekend will be shared in the coming days.
