🔥 2 WEEKS TODAY! 🔥

The countdown is officially ON!

In just two weeks, I’ll be standing at the start line of Marathon #1 of 2 as part of the IronSAMS Community Challenge. 🏃‍♂️💪

I’m not going to lie… the training has been exhausting! 😴🥵 Long runs, early mornings, tired legs and plenty of moments wondering quite why I thought running TWO marathons was a good idea! 😂

But every time I’ve visited the schools and seen the excitement from the children, I’ve been reminded exactly why we’re doing this.

We’re incredibly proud to support these schools and, most importantly, work with them. Seeing schools, staff and children getting behind IronSAMS, taking on their own challenges and encouraging one another has been amazing.

And the encouragement I’ve received from the children has genuinely helped me through some of those tougher training days. Their excitement about being involved is infectious! 💙💛

Now it’s getting real…

This week, I’ve been really encouraged by the incredible people getting behind the IronSAMS Community Challenge. 200 Year 7 students from The Hurst took on a sponsored walk together, raising money for SAMS. 🙌 Then two primary school children knocked on my door after going door-to-door asking people to sponsor their own IronSAMS Challenge. They had no idea I was going to answer. 😆 And finally, I met an 82 year old runner who still runs 5K four times a week. Different ages, different stories, but the same incredible spirit. It’s moments like these that remind me IronSAMS isn’t just about the miles. It’s about people, community, connections, and making a difference together. 💙 Cannot wait to do this with you all in a couple weeks time! 🎉
