About us:
The care of elderly christians is the heart and mission of Bethany Care Home. Maintaining some of the highest possible standards in care, for over 30 years now, we have been privileged to provide a home for many in need of help and protection in the latter stage of their lives.
In a lovely, purpose built home, as well as independent living accommodation in the ‘Bethany Oaks’ complex, we provide residential care for elderly christians. Within the care home there is the ‘Emmaus Unit’ which is a separate area, specifically tailored to the needs of those with memory problems. Care is offered on a long term basis but it is often possible to arrange respite care for a week or two, to allow family carers to take a holiday.
Care is provided by the Bethany Care Trust, which is registered with the charities commission and is a non profit making organisation. It is the policy of the Trust to give priority to those elderly Christians who are most in need of care, irrespective of their financial situation.
The Trust is registered with the Care Quality Commission and operates its activities to meet the Fundamental Standards prescribed by the Care Act 2014.
