💛 It took the whole town to make this Mid-Autumn happen!
This year's celebration was not the work of one person or one group. It was a whole community pulling together:
🙋 More than 70 volunteers 🎤 More than 70 performers from six groups 🤝 Dozens of friends from partner groups and organisations, all giving their time for free
On Level 2 of the library there were 8 game stalls, 4 craft and boardgame tables and 14 community and charity stalls. The floor was packed all afternoon, and so many children filled their stamp cards and went home with a lantern 🏮
The markets were just as busy. St Nicholas Shopping Centre hosted 35 stalls across two floors, from handmade crafts and lifestyle goods to dry food and festive treats, while Oru Space ran 10 hot food stalls indoors and on the rooftop, with all three timed entry slots fully booked. The crowds kept coming from morning to evening 🛍️

Finally, thank you to every volunteer working behind the scenes: at the game stalls, on safety and crowd management, first aid, photography, filming, sound, welcoming guests, cleaning and setting up equipment. There are simply too many of you to name, but every contribution is remembered 🙏
