Net Zero is a project to build spaces for climate community action in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Net Zero runs a successful repair cafe in Stratford-upon-Avon, in partnership with Stratford Town Trust. We are set up by local climate activists, foremost from Stratford Climate Action. Our aim is to build spaces for climate community action in Stratford, and we want to establish a climate community hub in the town centre, to provide reliable information, community events and a relaxing, friendly place to visit.

Tonight at the Net Zero Community Kitchen, we have Kjersti and Mike cooking up a three course meal! On the menu:

Spicy carrot and coriander soup.🥕🥕
Stir fry Chinese vegetable noodles. 🍜🍜
Doughnuts and pastries for dessert. 🍩🍩

We also have LOADS of stuff to take away.

At Net Zero Stratford we have been working with the team at Eco-Workshop to take orders for their Swift boxes, a brilliant project that offers beautiful boxes. But did you know that Swifts return to the same nesting place year after year?! This means it is important to also retain existing nesting spots in order to support returning breeding pairs.

The Net Zero Community Kitchen! Cooking some of the best vegetarian food in town, maybe. 🤔🤔🤔

Every Friday, a bunch of crazy volunteers rescue food from local supermarkets that would otherwise go to waste and cook up a delicious (usually three courses) meal for anyone in our local community.

Meet, eat and laugh! 🤣🤣🤣

So, come on down and EAT FOR FREE, meet lovely people and be part of this wonderful endeavour.

A packed church enjoyed Janie Dee’s🌎“Beautiful World”🌍concert on Sunday night, inspiring local action to protect nature and combat climate change.

It’s a celebration of our beautiful world, with an electrifying line-up in one of Stratford’s most beautiful settings.
