We had a great day at Stratford Repair Cafe today, fixing over 70 items including sharpening John's shears, and sewing up a 🐴 donkey head and 🧚‍♂️ fairy wings - which should do us in good stead for Midsummer's Night next year! The next repair cafe is on October 3rd, hope to see you there! 🙂

Join us for a screening of a brilliant and inspiring film about community energy, Sunday 6th September, 7:30 pm, Rother St. Arts House.

What happens when a couple of artists decide to take their London street off the grid? Power Station follows artist-activists Hilary Powell and Dan Edelstyn as they spark a grassroots energy revolution, showing how creativity, community and collective action can help build a more sustainable future.

Funny, inventive and full of hope, this inspiring documentary is a celebration of local people making a real difference!

Sponsored by Octopus Energy and presented by Net Zero Stratford, this special screening will be followed by a panel discussion with special guests representing the national and local energy sectors including: confirmed panelists:

Now that the heatwave has broken, why not join us tonight for a free meal at the Ken Kennett Centre, 5 - 6 pm. All welcome! Food is free, but any donations gratefully received, and there's no need to book.

For tonight's meal we have Italian pasta with fresh basil, oven-baked crusty baguettes, and side salad, followed by summer pudding with fresh strawberries.

There's a drop in at the hub tomorrow and next Thursday for anyone wanting help responding to the Reg. 19 consultation on the South Warwickshire Local Plan. 27th Aug & 3rd Sept, 10 am - 1 pm, 30 Meer St, Stratford-upon-Avon.

The final consultation on the South Warwickshire Local Plan runs until September 8th.
