💙 Wishing all our wonderful Year 4s and their families the very best on your last day at Fairfield Park Lower School!

As you take your final walk through the school gates, remember just how far you’ve come. From little feet and big dreams to the incredible young people you all are today, you’ve filled Fairfield Park Lower School with laughter, learning, friendship and memories that will last a lifetime.

As one chapter of your school journey comes to an end, another exciting adventure is about to begin. We hope you’ll always carry a little piece of Fairfield Park Lower School with you, just as you’ll always leave a little piece of yourselves here.

To all your brilliant parents and families, enjoy that last walk to school together… and don’t forget the tissues for the end of the day as it only seems like yesterday you were waving goodbye on that very first morning.

As another fantastic school year comes to a close, we’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported our clothing and textile collections throughout the year.

Thanks to your amazing generosity, together we’ve raised an incredible £542.25 for the PTA! 👏

Every bag donated has helped us raise valuable funds that go straight back into creating enriching experiences, resources and opportunities for all the children at Fairfield Park Lower School.

Our collections simply wouldn’t be possible without your continued support, so whether you’ve donated once or every time, thank you for helping us make a difference.

👕 Our next clothing collection will take place in September. We’ll share dates and collection times towards the end of the summer holidays, so keep an eye on our page for more details.

We’re still smiling after such an incredible Summer Fete, and we’re absolutely delighted to share that, thanks to the amazing support of our Fairfield Park Lower School community, we raised a fantastic £2,408.78! 🎉

What a fete-tastic day it was! With sunshine overhead, laughter all around and so many smiling faces, it was wonderful to see our school community come together to enjoy a truly memorable day.

To everyone who came along, volunteered, donated, bought raffle tickets, ran stalls, helped behind the scenes or simply joined in the fun – thank you. Every helping hand, every kind gesture and every pound raised helped make the day such a success.

A very special thank you to our wonderful teachers and school staff who gave up part of their weekend to support the fete. Your enthusiasm, generosity and commitment to our children never go unnoticed, and we’re so grateful for everything you do.

A huge thank you also goes to everyone who helped make the day extra special:

🎠 Alan Thorpe for bringing the fun once again and helping make each year bigger and better.

Seeing the children excitedly choose the perfect gifts for their loved ones is always one of the highlights of our year, and your support makes it all possible.

PRELOVED UNIFORM DONATIONS WANTED! 👕

As we come to the end of another school year, many children will be outgrowing their school uniform. If you have any good quality uniform that is no longer needed, we’d be incredibly grateful for your donations.

Your donations help us keep our preloved uniform scheme going, supporting families while raising valuable funds for our school. Every item really does make a difference! 💙

At the moment we’re particularly in need of branded uniform - jumpers, cardigans and PE hoodies.

📍 Donations can be dropped off at either school office during school opening hours.

After a week of miserable weather, we’re delighted that tomorrow is set to be warm and dry, with even the possibility of some sunshine joining us! ☀️

💛 This year’s fete is especially meaningful as we celebrate the upcoming retirement of our wonderful Headmistress, Mrs Stone, at the end of this term.

We would love to welcome back former pupils, families and staff to see how much the fete has grown over the years, reconnect with old friends, celebrate our amazing school community and join us in saying a fond farewell and heartfelt thank you to Mrs Stone for everything she has done for Fairfield Park Lower School.

♻️ Happy School Bags Drop-Off – Tomorrow Morning! ♻️

A quick reminder that our Happy School Bags collection is taking place tomorrow.

Due to our team being busy setting up for tomorrow’s Summer Fete, we will be operating an extended drop-off window to allow donations to be left throughout the morning.

📍 Dickens Boulevard – Staff Car Park
📅 Tomorrow
⏰ 9:30am – 11:30am

Please bring donations through the staff car park and place them down the ramp next to the large blue recycling bin - behind the wall if you look from the car park.
⚠️ Please do not place donations inside the bin or leave in the car park.
Our team will collect and sort bags at various points throughout the morning.

Happy School Bags were sent home with children last week and details were also shared via MCAS, so there’s still time to have a quick clear-out and make a donation!

Your donations help raise valuable funds for our school while supporting recycling and reducing waste. 💙

🌞 WE NEED YOUR HELP TOMORROW! 🌞

🎉 Our Summer Fete is finally here tomorrow, and we’re so excited for what promises to be a fantastic day!

We’ve got amazing attractions, delicious food vendors, brilliant stall holders, fun activities and entertainment all lined up and ready to go.

Now all we need is YOU!

Our small but dedicated PTA team has worked tirelessly over the last few weeks to organise this event for our children, families and wider community. To make sure all that hard work becomes the success we know it can be, we need a few more volunteers to lend a hand throughout the day.

Can you spare anything from just 30 minutes to an hour or more?
💙 Help with setting up before the fete
💙 Man a stall for a short shift
💙 Support activities during the event
💙 Help with packing away afterwards

What ever you can give we’d you’d be most welcome.
Every little bit of time makes a huge difference and helps ensure everyone can enjoy the day.

There’s no experience needed and everyone is welcome – parents, grandparents, family members and friends.

🌟 If your child has been asking to help on a stall, we’d love to welcome them too! Children are welcome to help with stalls and activities, provided they are supervised by a parent, guardian or responsible adult at all times.
