Say hello to Elizabeth Levy!

Not only is Liz directing the second play in our Summer Showcase, she's only gone and written it too!

"Burial Plot" is a comedy where Death has had a busy day collecting souls and taking them to the afterlife. He has just one more left to move on before he can go home, the soul of renowned physician and phrenologist Professor Winterdinkle. What could possibly go wrong? Farce, melodrama and deceit, all set in a Victorian Graveyard late one evening. Bring your own booze, you will need it!

You may have seen Kirsty treading the boards in previous shows, but this year she steps into a brand-new role, taking on the director’s mantle for the first time with the production "After Esme".

Summer Production 2026🎭

We are excited to announce that tickets are on sale now for our Summer Production! 🎟️

An evening of One-Act comedy dramas taking place on 18th & 19th June in the Town Hall:
First up is "After Esme" by Kathryn West which is being directed by Kirsty and Bill Williamson.
Then we'll be performing "Burial Plot" written and directed by Elizabeth Levy.

The hall will be set out cabaret style, so bring along some drinks and nibbles and make a night of it🍿

Suggested audience age is 16+

2026 AGM 📣❗️

This will take place on Friday 8th May at 7.30pm in the café at the Bowling Club. Everyone is welcome - come along and support your local amateur dramatics group🎭
After the meeting we will be rounding off the night with a beetle drive, and some exciting prizes are up for grabs too🎲✏️👀
