Celebrating 45 Years of Service, Friendship & Community Impact

Our Club recently marked its 45th anniversary with a special Charter Dinner at Crathorne Hall Hotel, bringing together members, guests and fellow Rotarians from across Yorkshire and the North-East. Since being founded in 1981, the Club has raised more than £350,000 for local, national and international charities and causes — supporting schools, community groups and individuals across the region.

The evening featured an inspiring talk from renowned mountaineer Alan Hinkes OBE, the first Briton to climb all 14 of the world’s highest mountains, who shared stories of perseverance, teamwork and determination — values that perfectly reflect Rotary itself. As we look ahead to the future, we remain committed to making a positive difference in our communities and welcome anyone interested in friendship, service and giving back to consider joining us.

Classics on Show 2026

Rotary Stokesley Walk4Water Day 5. Starting from Whitby Abbey. Along the Cleveland Way to Ravenscar via Boggle Hole. Finished at Ravenscar at 4pm. That’s the first 50 miles of our epic fundraising walk from Stokesley to Scarborough. Another 10 miles tomorrow and we’ve made it! Passed the vineyard at Robin Hoods Bay on the way. Must try the wine sometime.
