CHRISTMAS POLL — we need your help!
Every year we put on a Christmas Party with Santa, and the children absolutely love it! But this year we're thinking of trying something a little different...
So we'd love to hear from you! Do your little ones fancy a fun-filled Pantomime Trip 👍 or would they prefer to stick with our much-loved Christmas Party with Santa? ❤️

📰 Advertise in the Staple Hill Signpost – Summer 2026 Edition!
Do you run a local event, service, or community group? Want to make sure everyone in Staple Hill hears about it — including people who aren't online?
The Staple Hill Signpost is our FREE printed community magazine, and we're now taking bookings for the Summer 2026 edition! 🌞
We print 500 copies, and with each one read by at least two people, your advert could reach 1,000 local residents — many of whom you simply can't reach through social media alone. The Signpost is picked up from local cafés, the library, and doctors' surgeries across Staple Hill, so it goes straight into the hands of the people who need it most.
The Summer edition covers July, August & September — out in early July.
⚠️ Advert deadline: 10th June 2026 — and spaces are limited, so don't leave it too late!
We have a range of advert sizes to suit all needs, from a quarter page to a full page. Full size specifications are available on request.

Grab a deckchair, pack a picnic and head to Page Park this summer for FREE concerts on the bandstand! 🎷🎸

Our friends at St Stephen's Drama Group are bringing a brilliant night out to Soundwell later this month — and they're holding a bucket collection for us at each performance! 🧡
🔪 Deadline — a comedy murder mystery by Don Zolidis — runs 25th–27th June 2026 at St Stephen's Church Hall, Church Road, Soundwell, Bristol, BS16 4RH.
Tickets are just £7 — what a bargain for a night of laughs and mystery! 🕵️‍♀️😂

🌟 This Volunteer Week, we're shining a spotlight on another of our incredible volunteers — Irene!
Since retiring, Irene has been passionate about giving back to her community. She's been with us for 3–4 years, starting out in our Job Club before becoming a trustee. On top of everything she does here, Irene is also a Parish Councillor and Treasurer at the League of Friends — talk about community spirit! 🏡💛

🌟 It's Volunteer Week and we're celebrating the amazing people who make the Hub tick!
Meet Janet, one of our wonderful volunteers. Janet works mainly abroad but wanted to find a way to give something back closer to home — and we're so glad she did! She loves the diversity of the Staple Hill community and everything that makes it special. 💛
You'll find Janet helping out at our Wednesday Coffee Morning and at special events like last week's Ignite Life Family Fun Day at Page Park. Thank you Janet! 🙏

This week, we're taking a moment to celebrate the incredible people who make Staple Hill Community Hub possible — our amazing volunteers.
We are so lucky to have 40 active volunteers giving their time, energy, and hearts to our community. From friendly faces at our clubs and groups, to vital support behind the scenes — without them, we simply couldn't do what we do.
Every cup of tea made, every door held open, every warm smile offered — it all matters more than words can say. Our volunteers don't just support our services, they are the heart of this Hub.
