FishFest started off as a regular community festival in 2010 as a local fundraising event, bringing together performers, creators, local food producers, schools, clubs and community groups. An annual event until 2017, Fishfest regularly attracted well over 1000 people and featured singers, dancers, magicians, stilt walkers, jam makers, upcyclers, community enterprisers and more! Downscaled now, t

he organisation occasionally runs fundraising events for Grove Road Youth Club, and the occasional Sunday Cinema event around Christmas. The team who brought you Fishfest have gone on to other things and have been involved with: Make Sunday Special in Fishponds, Party on the Ponds, The People's University of Fishponds, Fishponds Scarecrow Trail and Fishponds Emergency Disco nights.
