𝐀 𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤.

The 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐝 is proud to have been commissioned by the 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 to design and build two memorial gardens for this year's Remembrance Week at the town war memorial.

After several months of planning, designing and making, the two gardens were officially unveiled at a dedication ceremony today.

It has been a real privilege for our members to contribute to this project and to play a small part in helping our community remember and honour those who gave their lives in service of our country.

A big thank you to the Royal British Legion for entrusting us with this project, to PaintWell Stamford, and to all our members who have given their time, skills, and enthusiasm to bring it to life.

A busy Sunday morning at our 'open air' shed in the MindSpace Stamford garden, getting the final touches ready on the Stamford Royal British Legion's memorial garden boxes.

😊We have been blessed with good weather recently at our Sunday morning woodworkshops! Let's hope it continues, or we'll be retreating to our polytunnel while we wait for a permanent home at Stamford Rec.

Stamford Shed in action! ⚒

The memorial displays commissioned by the Royal British Legion- Stamford Branch are nearly ready for use. We've been making them two displays, one for the First World War and one for the Second World War.

We're taking a bit of a break for a couple of weeks, with so many Shedders on holiday, but our Sunday morning casual woodwork sessions resume at the MindSpace Stamford Garden, Uffington Road, at 10am on Sunday 27th September.

Another first for the group! Bug Hotel version 1.1!
Great team effort from this morning's meet-up, where we made our first creepy-crawly home.
We're making these to sell at the Christmas Market and raise some much-needed funds towards a new home.
Some Shedders were a bit worried that the measurements weren't exact. "It's only a Bug Hotel" chipped in another. Catchphrase of the day!
We like rustic. We like wonky. 😆

Another successful project completed for the Friends of Stamford Station. Simple, but effective composting bins. 🔨🪚🪛
No home. No power tools. No problem. Surprising what you can do with some pallets, a few tools and a healthy dose of enthusiastic Shedders! 😊

ShedFest 2026 brought Shedders, Sheds, partners and supporters together at the University of Worcester Arena for a day celebrating everything that makes the Shed movement special.

From sharing skills and swapping ideas to making new connections, having a laugh and hearing powerful personal stories, ShedFest is a chance to see the impact of Sheds in action – and to meet the people at the heart of it.

This short film captures some of the voices, moments and memories from a brilliant day, including Shedders and friends from across the UK and beyond.

As one Shedder summed it up perfectly: a chat, a cup of tea and a laugh.

What a great day yesterday at the Stamford Round Table 611 Car Show! Lots of people stopped by to say hello and learn about the Stamford Shed.

👋We're a friendly bunch of blokes who like to drink tea, have a chat, and make bits and pieces. You don't need any special skills.

📍We meet on Sunday mornings at the Mindspace Garden, Uffington Road, Stamford.
🕙 Meeting time is 10am, and we usually meet up for about 2-3 hours depending on what projects we have.
🌦 Rain or shine - we can work in the polytunnel if the weather's not too good.
🗓We also have planning meetings at Mindspace Red Lion Street every other Thursday evening.

Over the past month we have set up stall on Stamford Rec to interact with the public so that we can tell them what we are all about and recruit new members. Good crowds and fair interest at both.

On Friday Carl and Bill were thrilled to receive a cheque for £800 from Stamford Lions, following their Christmas Tree Festival. Thanks to the generosity of the people who visited, exhibited a tree and made donations they were able to give this wonderful amount to help towards Stamford Shed establish premises and build their membership.
