Three Reach staff members, Tina, Emily and Vickie, were proud to support Reach at the Hawtonville Family Fun Day hosted by CaroMax Cafe. They organised a Hook a Duck game alongside a Wine or Water table. Together, these activities raised a wonderful £105 towards our work supporting adults with learning disabilities in our local communities.
Thank you to Tony, Charlotte and Andrea for their support on the day.

Our Reach Newark 'Out and About' group went on an amazing trip to RAF Syerston last week. 🚁✈️
We were given a guided tour of the airfield, with the opportunity to get up close to the gliders and planes and learn more about how they are used. We climbed up the lookout tower too 🗼

We had an engaging presentation on the history of RAF Syerston, and everyone learnt something new! A big thank you to the RAF team for welcoming us and treating us like royalty! Comment below your suggestions of local places we should visit next!

Our Safer Citizens project helps people with learning disabilities feel confident, informed and safe while in their communities. Because being part of your community should never mean feeling at risk. This work has been kindly supported by Nottinghamshire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and The National Lottery Community Fund

Lions, Tigers and Polar Bears.. oh my! Our trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park was a roaring success. The best part was seeing and hearing the lions roar up close. They were amazing and everyone loved them. 🦁

We also spotted cheetahs and giraffes, as well as tigers and the enormous polar bears, There was so much to see and do, and we all had a really fun day together. It’s a trip we will remember for a long time.🐅🦒🐻‍❄️

A huge congratulations to Southwell Running Club for such a successful first Southwell Summer Scamper! It was an honour to be the chosen charity and all our volunteers, marshals, medal presenters and runners enjoyed being part of the wonderful atmosphere on Sunday,

A huge well done to all the runners, and in particular, our fundraisers Amy and Julia who have a raised over £1000 in addition to the proceeds we will receive from the event. Everyone's support helps more adults with learning disabilities to access opportunities, build confidence and be part of their community.
