Reach Learning Disability Enabling people with learning disabilities to reach beyond expectation every day. Registered charity number: 1076318

Reach Learning Disability is a registered charity that supports people with learning disabilities in Nottinghamshire. We work with over 250 people with learning disabilities (our clients) weekly to enable each individual to lead a happier and healthier life in their own community. We have five centres – Reach Southwell, Reach Newark, Reach Mansfield, and our horticultural centres Flower Pod South

well and Flower Pod Newark. Our centres offer courses, activities, projects and socials, aiming to enable our clients to learn new skills, make friends and live well. We also provide one-to-one care support through Reach Learning Disability Care CIC.

A brilliant visit from the mini mobile zoo at Reach Mansfield this week.

The group had the chance to meet and learn about a range of fascinating reptiles, including snakes, along with some small mammals. For many, it was a new experience and a great opportunity to build confidence, curiosity and knowledge.

This Saturday Mansfield Methodist Church on Big Barn Lane are hosting a coffee morning in support of Reach!

Pop in between 10am and 12pm for delicious homemade cakes, a warm drink, and a browse through a selection of hidden treasures, pre-loved gems and unique finds.

It is a great chance to enjoy good company while helping raise vital funds.

Barbecue weather at Flower Pod Newark called for an evening social, making the most of the sunshine! Pete (Reach Newark Tutor) brought his guitar along and provided fantastic music and entertainment.

What a brilliant long weekend away on the Norfolk coast. Clients, staff and supporting carers enjoyed seaside walks, crab spotting, archery, meeting donkeys, games and lots of dancing at the evening discos. Add to that good food and good company, and it made for a really special supported holiday.

Trips like this help create opportunities for connection, confidence and shared experiences. Thank you to everyone who has supported and donated to Reach, as our holidays offer is reliant on voluntary income. We're already looking ahead to the next holiday!
