A couple of weeks ago we had a meeting from Cancer Research.

We learnt so much about how their fundraising is used and how it helps people.

It was also our chosen charity for the previous young farmers year so we got to present them with a cheque for £500 which we fundraised for throughout the year at events!

Thank you Cancer Research UK for our talk and for all the important work you are doing for people everywhere! 💙

Last night some of our members attended a very insightful talk on the future of farming. 🚜🐄🥦🌾Thank you to South Notts NFU NFU Midlands for inviting us. Massive thank you to the speakers Ben Allen, Calum Throup, Daisy Hammond and Charlie Spencer. You all provided a very interesting insight into your careers in farming and the pathways that led them to where they are today. We learnt about the modern day struggles facing our agricultural community and made some valuable connections! We also got some great nibbles provided by The Old Parlour Café Spring Lane Farm Shop & Café ☕️
