We provide spaces for girls and young women to challenge themselves, build friendships and have fun.

Girl guiding Eastwood District is one of the Districts within Girlguiding UK, the largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women in the UK. In 2010 we celebrated 100 years and are now looking to the next 100 years! This page is to promote Girlguiding in Eastwood by sharing information about the opportunities being provided for the girls. We have active units for:
Rainbows – 4 to 7 years on Wednesdays and Thursdays
Brownies - 7 to 10 years on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
Guides - 10 to 14 years on Mondays
Rangers – 14 to 18 years on Mondays
We also welcome any adults who would like to share in the fun by volunteering either with a unit or by helping with other tasks. You can spend as much or as little time with us as you wish. To register interest either as a young member or to volunteer please go to:
http://www.girlguiding.org.uk/g…/register_your_interest.aspx
Or if you want to know more – just ask!

🏠 A HUGE THANK YOU TO EASTWOOD LADIES AND THE 1ST AND 4TH RAINBOWS! 🏠

We would like to say a massive thank you for your wonderful Harvest Collection and the generous donations you have kindly given to Off the Streets. Your kindness and support mean so much to us and the guests we support.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps us provide essential items and create a safe, welcoming environment for those who need us.

Your generosity really does make a difference, and we are so grateful to have such a caring community standing alongside us.

Thank you for helping us make a difference, one person at a time!

Congratulations to 6th Eastwood Guides - we have had some awards to present
this term. 1 Bronze Award; well done Nina and 7 Silver Awards; well done to
Addison, Amber, Bella, Florence, Freya Gracie and Lucie. We are a
relatively new unit, and these are our first silver awards too - so proud of all the girls achievements!

So great to see a Guide unit going from strength to strength and that the
girls (and leaders) are enjoying their Guiding.

Big Gig - Wembley Arena

Eastwood Guides & Rangers had a great time at Girlguiding’s Big Gig held at Wembley arena today.
An event just for Girlguiding members.

We danced & sang to Aston Merrygold, Carla Monroe, Midnight in Vegas, The Wanted 2, Kerry Ellis, Scouting for Girls and JLS!

A great time was had by all.
And a big thank you to the leaders for giving up their day to take the girls 😍

First meeting of term for Eastwood Rangers. A rather chilly windy evening at the beach but fun nonetheless. Three Bronze Awards presented and a sad goodbye to Gabs after 12 years in various units in Eastwood.

Rangers spent time at Guidewoods yesterday cooking a roast dinner for their Chef interest badge. Desert (no pictures as we were too busy eating our roast) was a delicious apple crumble and custard. Great job Rangers!

Great work last night by 6th Eastwood Brownies. Each six made a monster and wrote instructions of how they built it. Then they dismantled it for another six to rebuild it. Can you spot the difference between the two models?
