Tomorrow on March 11th, our young carers celebrate young carers action day. A day where young carers providers and charities action for change.

With a focus being on fair futures for young carers, we recognise the support young carers need to reach their full potential, with education, employment and day to day life.

We have young carers activities at SYC on Tuesdays.

COOL 4:15-6:15 ( children aged 8-11)
CHIL 6:30-8:30 (for those aged 12=16)

Celebrating international woman's day today Sunday 8th March. This has been a focus for some groups over the last week as we consider gender inequality and celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

Junior session for 8 -11 year olds 3.30pm – 5.30pm
NEW! Southend United delivering girls football from 6pm -7pm for 12-16 year olds (This session will only host football activity)
Senior session for 12 -16’s 7-9pm - Arts and crafts, safe space to socialise, sports, games room. Free Snack.

What's on Monday’s at SYC?

11-3pm Information, Advice and Guidance sessions- 1-1 sessions with youth workers for those who are home educated, or not accessing education.

These sessions are bookable, contact [email protected] if you would like to book your child in for these sessions.

Evening session from 3.30pm -5.30pm for young people aged 12 -16yrs. This session is free to attend, arts, sports, games, table tennis and much more included. FREE Snack.

What's on Fridays at SYC? Please note there are changes!

3.30pm – 5.30pm session is for young people aged 10 – 13 yrs, we currently have E15 acting school providing drama workshops alongside our regular youth club activities

Evening session 7pm -9pm for young people aged 14 – 18yrs – (school year 10 and above)

All sessions are free to attend, activities provided and snack included!
