A small selection tonight at the fridge.

Doors open at 6:15pm tonight, once the volunteer is ready. There are some signs up this evening where there are limits in place.

There is a cash donation box as well as a QR code for those who wish to donate towards the running costs and membership for Fareshare which enables us to run the community fridge.

We are hoping to implement some more new ideas over the next week or so to help address the feedback from our recent survey. More information to follow on this in the coming weeks.

Plenty of carrots and swede left at the fridge. Pop along during Connections Cafe Queensferry to grab some, and why not stay for a cuppa.

Lots of interesting wee bits in the delivery today including some nice meat and salad. Also some really lovely carrots - ideal for soup....or cake - it's your choice!!

Open from 6.15pm tonight - usual guidelines - don't queue too early, be considerate to all others and only take what you really need.

And please donate if you can - cash or QR code - all money goes back into the running of the fridge.

It's Tuesday which means delivery day. Mixed bag today - nice peppers, mushrooms, carrots - lots of recipe options for veg, I have given one below (you could mix and match whatever veg you want) but please share any ideas you have with us. There's also nice tangerines - perfect easy snack for the kids' lunchboxes. And finally lots of breaded chicken which would be perfect for an easy dinner alongside some chips and veg.

As always, open at 6.15pm, please don't queue too early, be kind and donate if you can - cash or QR code.

An easy veggie curry that makes a cheap and healthy meal. It uses basic store cupboard ingredients so is very quick and easy to cook.

We still have plenty of veg left in the fridge this morning.

The door will likely be locked, please ring the bell. It’s the big silver button which says “press to open doors” it’s just a bell! I will be down as soon as I can, please bear with me if I’m down straight away as I may be in the middle of something in the office. Thanks

Lovely delivery today including meat, veg and dairy products. There are some nice Maris Pipers which got me thinking about how versatile potatoes are. With this in mind, I have included a link to some ideas. As always, please do let us know of any recipes you try using ingredients from the fridge.

Usual guidance for tonight - open from 6.15pm, be considerate to all fridge users and volunteers, donate if you can.

A small delivery today, some stuff mushrooms, plenty of spring onion and carotts too, along with a few odd bits.

There are also some plants which are at the fire exit door which some green fingered people are welcome to take.

There are still some sanitary products. Please only take this if you or someone you know is in need, not just to stock up. Period Poverty is a very real issue for many women - we stock free products in bathrooms at both Queensferry and Dalmeny churches along with the extra ones we received from Fareshare today. Rolls, yoghurt, ready meals, couscous, potatoes and carrots included in today's delivery. Open from 6.15pm tonight - please don't queue too early, only take what you need and donate if you can.
