❗❗ November Urgent Donation Spotlight ❗❗

We just wanted to highlight a few items that we’re running really low on. If you’re able to help, please consider donating, as we urgently need these items to support the families coming to us over the next few weeks.

Thank you so much for your continued kindness and support. 💛

The yellow donation bins will be out this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9am and 4pm.

🌟WHERE DO YOU DONATE?🌟
You will find our yellow bins located at the BACK entrance of 141 high street, Solihull, B91 3SR. 🎄 Launching NOW… Our Annual Christmas Pants Campaign! 🎄

As Christmas approaches, we’re launching our annual Christmas Pants Campaign to support the Children’s Storehouse, and we’d love your help to spread the word!

Throughout the year, families are referred to the Storehouse for free clothing and essential items. Every child we clothe receives NEW underwear, because we believe something so basic and personal should always be new.

Keeping our supplies stocked in the right sizes comes at a significant cost. That’s where you can help! 💙

👖 How can you get involved?

There are lots of ways to support our campaign:

👖 Raise money to help us buy packs of new underwear.
🎄 Organise a collection instead of sending Christmas cards.
📍 Become a ‘Pants Donation Station’ in your community.
📢 Share this post with friends, family, colleagues and your wider networks.

Every donation helps us provide essential items with dignity and without judgement. ❤️

📍 Where can you donate?

🟡 Yellow donation bins: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays ONLY, 9am–4pm, at the BACK entrance of 141 High Street, Solihull, B91 3SR. Access via Warwick Road, turning by Morrisons onto George Road. Follow the road to Delivery Area A. The bins are on the left, identifiable by our logo.

🎄 Friday Community Open Days: 27 November, 4 December and 11 December, 10am–12 noon. Please use the front entrance at 141 High Street, Solihull (between Toni & Guy and Côte Brasserie). We’re on floor 1.

💝 Added Extras - Toys 💝

You’ve sent us some lovely toys recently! 🫶

We can accept small toys only, such as cars, dinosaurs, animals, dolls, board games, craft supplies, colouring activities, puzzles and NEW teddies only. 🧸

We ask for small toys because they are much easier for families to take home on public transport, especially when they’re already carrying bags and bags of clothing! 🛍️

Thank you for helping us add a little extra joy to children’s lives. 💖

🍁 Reminder - we are closed for half term! 🍁

Our fabulous team of volunteers are taking a well deserved break this week to rest, relax and spend some much needed time with their own family and friends.

We're all about making everything we do sustainable and that includes looking after our hard working volunteers! 💝

So that means ...no donation bins this week (27th/28th/29th Nov) - but we'll be back on Tuesday 3rd November! 😉

Thank you so much for your support!

💝 Welcoming a Friend Who Is Also a Personal Hero 💝

Angela Kemm is a dear friend of Jubilee Church and has been a huge source of inspiration and encouragement to us in all we do here at the Children’s Storehouse.

Her story began in Cape Town, South Africa, where she worked in the townships, providing families not only with essential clothing but also helping to build homes to replace shacks. She even marched alongside Bishop Desmond Tutu against apartheid and has spent her life standing up to many forms of injustice.

We were delighted to welcome her this week and especially grateful that she prayed a special prayer of blessing over us. What a privilege to welcome a friend who is also such a personal hero!
