BRAMA TRUST is a registered CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) based in Solihull, West Midlands, dedicated to supporting Refugees, Asylum Seekers, and Those Affected by Disasters. BRAMA has developed an intimate understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by refugees and creates a welcoming and inclusive environment for their integration into the local community.

What a wonderful evening we had yesterday! Thank you to everyone who joined us at The Courtyard Gallery (The Core Library) - the artists, families, friends and art lovers who made it such a warm and memorable occasion.

It was a real joy to celebrate the work of artists from Ukraine, Hong Kong and Afghanistan together in one room.

If you weren't able to come along, there's still time: the exhibition remains on display until 29 June 2026. Do pop in to see these remarkable works for yourself - we promise it's well worth the visit.

Many people kindly nominated our dear Chare Olga Meglinskaya for the VCFSE Organisational Leadership Award as part of the Solihull Civic Honours Awards 2026. She was delighted to be shortlisted alongside two other wonderful individuals. Here are Olga's heartfelt thoughts about this special recognition:

'I feel incredibly honoured to have been nominated.

Our work is about people who have experienced loss, displacement and uncertainty, yet show such resilience, strength and hope.

Thank you to our Trustees, volunteers and partners. And most of all, thank you to everyone who has trusted us to walk alongside you as you rebuild your lives.

So proud of what we are building together in Solihull. It means more than words can say.'

53 of our students spent the day exploring the beautiful market town of Cirencester - practising their English, soaking up British culture, and making memories together.

A huge thank you to our wonderful organiser, who puts in so much time, care, and energy to make this trip happen completely free for everyone involved. We're lucky to have you! 💛
