NBC - Under 5's Play Programme A fun group for parents and carers with babies & toddlers. Lots of toys, singing & dancing, arts &

From the beginning we wanted Little Fish to be different to many Toddler Groups, with a big emphasis on friendliness towards the adults as well as the children. For those of us who have been involved from the beginning it has always been about creating a space for community to flourish, and so we have always been intentional about making sure that the parents/ grandparents/carers are looked out for as much as the children, recognising that the strains of looking after small children can be stressful and isolating. We believe in the importance of community, both the community that is Little Fish, and the community of the local area. We are always on the lookout for ways to engage with our community, and are keen to join in with local events, as well as encouraging people to volunteer and grow in confidence. We’re looking for a little help with our Ready for School sessions.

If you have any school uniform or PE kit for ages 3–6 that your little ones have outgrown, we’d love to give it a new purpose in our sessions.

Anything clean and in good condition would be very gratefully received.

You can drop donations into New Beginnings Community, St Mark’s Community Hall, Smethwick, Monday–Thursday, 9.30am–1pm, or email [email protected] to arrange a collection.

Thank you for helping our little ones get ready for their next big step.

🍕 Little Chefs were back in the kitchen! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our little ones had a brilliant time making their own pizzas – mixing, rolling, chopping, choosing toppings and, of course, tasting! 😋

A huge thank you to our wonderful Early Years Practitioner, Kelly, for planning and delivering such a fun, hands-on session. 💜

Little Chefs is part of our Changes programme, funded by Sandwell Public Health, helping us provide FREE activities that support children’s development, confidence, independence and healthy choices.

🍕 Little hands, big skills – and some very tasty pizzas! ❤️
