🌡️ Important Information for Thursday's Library Session 🌡️

As many of you know, we are due to meet at Thimblemill Library on Thursday. With a weather warning currently in place and very high temperatures forecast, we wanted to remind families to take extra care when travelling.

📍 Thimblemill Library
⏰ 10:30am

Please ensure that you and your child:
• Wear light, cool clothing
• Bring a sun hat
• Bring plenty of water
• Apply sunscreen before attending

Where possible, we would encourage families to travel by car or public transport rather than walking long distances in the heat.

The safety and wellbeing of our families is our priority, so we will continue to monitor the weather and let everyone know if there are any changes to our plans.

Please use your judgement about attending. If you or your child are struggling with the heat, we completely understand if you choose to stay at home and join us another week. Your wellbeing comes first.

We look forward to seeing you for stories, books and activities at the library.

Join us for our Making it REAL – We’re Going on a Bear Hunt special event tomorrow!

This FREE session is designed for children aged 3–5 years (younger siblings are welcome too) and is packed with fun inspired by the much-loved story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.

✨ Crafts and creative activities
✨ Pretend play adventures
✨ Messy play stations
✨ Opportunities to build early literacy skills through play

No need to book – just come along and join the adventure!

We can’t wait to see lots of little explorers as we swish through the grass, splash through the river and search for the bear together!
