🌊 Bearwood SeaVenturers Taster Session – This Sunday! 🌊
Looking for something positive, active, and confidence‑building for your young person?
Come along and see what Bearwood SeaVenturers is all about!
🗓 This Sunday,
⏰ 11.30am – 1.30pm
📍 St Hilda’s Community Centre, Abbey Road
Our taster session is a relaxed opportunity for young people to try new skills, make friends, and have fun in a welcoming environment. No experience needed — just curiosity and willingness to give it a go!
During our weekly sessions, young people explore a range of exciting modules, including:
⚓ Fun Games & Activities
Energy‑burning games that keep young people active, engaged, and smiling.
🤝 Teamwork & Leadership Skills
Building confidence, communication, and leadership through group challenges and shared responsibility.
🔬 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths)
Hands‑on activities that spark curiosity, problem‑solving, and creativity.
🚤 Boating & Water Skills
Learning about water safety, maritime skills, and boating sessions.
💙 Community & Wellbeing
A safe, supportive space where young people feel they belong and can grow emotionally and socially.
🧭 Outdoor Skills & Navigation
Developing practical skills like navigation, teamwork outdoors, and understanding the world around them.
Adults are warmly encouraged to stay for the session and bring their young people along to our taster session to see if it’s a good fit. No experience needed — just curiosity and willingness to have a go!
