September is here, which means we'll soon be turning the Village Hall into a cinema again.

This will be Season 6 of Slinfold Village Cinema. We've had great support from the village right from the start, and last season was our most successful yet, with every film from October through to May selling out.

We start again on Saturday 19th September at 7.30pm with The Devil Wears Prada 2, starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci.

Tickets are still just £5 – fantastic value for an evening's entertainment in the middle of the village, particularly when you can walk there and back.

Last night’s film, Is This Thing On?, starring Will Arnett and Laura Dern, brought the curtain down on another wonderful season at Slinfold Village Cinema.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Village Cinema this year. We showed nine films, seven of which sold out, and it has been wonderful to see so many new faces this season.

We’re taking a break for the summer and will return in September with another season of films.

Our final film of the season is IS THIS THING ON? on Saturday 20th June at 7:30pm, and stars Will Arnett and Laura Dern

Inspired by John Bishop's own journey into stand-up comedy, this warm, funny and uplifting comedy-drama follows a man rebuilding his life after the breakdown of his marriage and discovering an unexpected new direction along the way.

Full of heart, it is a story about family, friendship, second chances and finding the confidence to start again.

Join us at Slinfold Village Hall for A GOOD YEAR (12A) – a special charity wine tasting film night on Saturday 2nd May at 7:30pm.
