A bit of a quieter week this week in theory… although I’m not sure The Sycamore is ever considered quiet. I think the word I tend to use is rowdy. 😂
But rowdy doesn’t mean intimidating! If you fancy a lovely, relaxed book club, with a few drinks in the best glasses in Lincoln (and maybe some epic small plates), why not come along?
On Wednesday (so I must not have too many drinks in those lovely glasses!), we’re heading back to Sutton-on-Sea and Seaview Colonnade , this time to talk about Our Sutton Stories for weopenbooks.
Sutton-on-Sea is full of memories, and I’d absolutely love to hear yours. Whether you’ve lived here all your life, spent childhood summers here, remember how the village used to be, or have watched it change over the years, everyone has a story to tell.
It’s those little details, familiar places and shared memories that make a place what it is, and I’d love for us to spend a morning reminiscing, sharing stories and celebrating what makes Sutton-on-Sea so special.
So, if you live in or around Sutton-on-Sea, please do come along. You don’t need to be a writer or have a grand story to tell - just bring your memories, your love of the area, and be ready for a good old chat over a cuppa and a biscuit! ❤️
