Today saw our first Sportshall UK match of the season at The Stour Centre in Ashford! 🙌

A great day of competition, teamwork and some brilliant performances from our Team Swale athletes. 💪

💙🤍 KENT XC LEAGUE — ROUND 2! 🤍💙

Yesterday saw Team Swale take on the might of Somerhill School, with a much-bolstered squad and our biggest team numbers in years! 🙌

This fixture is always feared thanks to THE HILL and the relentless elevation across the course. But beautiful sunshine and a can-do attitude saw our athletes rise to the challenge! ☀️💪

Some solid racing and fantastic team spirit led to some great age-group results:

💙🤍 TEAM SWALE/WHEELER TAKE ON THE KENT DOWNS ULTRA! 🤍💙

What a battle from Lindsay, Caleb and Elliott in the latest round of the Kent Downs Ultra Challenge! ⛰️🏃‍♂️

The trio took on the 10K route, with a load of elevation — almost all of it on Detling Hill! 😮

🔥 Caleb stormed home in 1:08, finishing 6th overall and 2nd in his age group. He flew off the start line and barely looked back!

👏 Elliott finished in 1:38, taking 25th overall and 6th in his age group. An incredible effort, especially competing in the U16 age group and believed to be one of the youngest out there!

💪 And Lindsay crossed the line in 1:38, finishing 26th overall, just behind Elliott — although they recorded the same time! 🤪

A fantastic effort from all three, tackling a tough, hilly course and showing plenty of determination and team spirit.

With the 2026 ultra season now complete, there are already big plans for next year — including the Inca Trail! 🇵🇪⛰️

Well done, Lindsay, Caleb and Elliott! You’ve done Team Swale proud. 💙🤍

💙🤍 A BIG MOMENT FOR TEAM SWALE! 🤍💙

Our long jump runway fundraising campaign has been featured by England Athletics! 🦘

From our Jump the Distance challenge to the incredible support from our athletes, families, local businesses and the wider community, this project has been a real team effort.

With matched funding from Sport England and The National Lottery, alongside additional support, we reached our target and delivered a fantastic new facility for our athletes and the wider community.

A huge thank you to everyone who played a part in making it happen. This is about more than a runway — it’s about creating opportunities for the next generation of athletes in Swale. 💙🤍

Saturday saw the first cross-country match of the season at Foots Cray Meadows, with beautiful sunshine providing the perfect backdrop! ☀️🏃‍♀️

We welcomed some new faces to the team, boosting our numbers and, for the first time in a while, recorded a team score in the Senior Men’s competition! 💪🔥

An awesome day with solid performances across the board. Well done to everyone who pulled on the Swale vest and gave it their all! That was hard work, but we got it done!👏

Today was the Sittingbourne Striders 10 Miler & 10k, with glorious sunshine providing the backdrop as the team turned up feeling strong — and delivered! 🔥

What. A. Day! 🔥

Plenty of medals, PBs and great performances across the day — but more importantly, plenty of smiles! 😁

It was brilliant to get so much of Team Swale together, from our youngest athletes to our more experienced competitors, all cheering each other on and enjoying a day of competition.

That’s what club championships are all about. 💙🤍
