Today, we had a super walk in the sunshine across the Stiperstones. Gorse looking glorious, with patches of new heather flowers, and just a few Whin berries to nibble.

This month's walking group took the route along the dismantled railway, towards Minsterley, where we stopped for a drink and a biscuit - (and that wasn't just the dogs)- then back towards Pontesbury. A lovely morning, not too hot, and definitely not too speedy.

We are so proud of our crafting ladies, and their super skills. They won two 1sts and a couple of cups at Minsterley Show this weekend. Ann got the Pedley cup for her 'Andy Pandy', and Chloe got the Hodges cup for her 'Drenched Lemon Cake'.

In place of our August meeting, a group of us made the journey to Eve's Garden at https://ngs.org.uk/gardens/eves-garden-sy2/ and had an absolutely lovely time which included a talk by the owner, about the garden's history and lovely refreshments for all.

Four of us, and 2 dogs, enjoyed a lovely walk to the Lyd Hole waterfall on Monday.

Today, 6 of us joined a large group of ladies, and a few gents, on a walking trip at Much Wenlock. Sunny weather, not too hot, short or longer alternatives, followed by home made soup, lots of cake, and numerous cups of tea. Well done to the very efficient organisers.

Another lovely Monday walk. 4 of us went through some muddy paths to see the snowdrops at Cound, but it was well worth the effort. The dogs had tremendous fun together 😂🌦️🐾🐾🐾

Today we had a lovely walk from Hanwood towards Moat Hall and Woodhall farms. Muddy but invigorating, and the dogs loved it. Welcome to the lovely Eula who joined the Breeze houshold recently. 🐾😍

We have now sent nearly 300 knitted blankets to the Shrewsbury Hospital Trust. We also occasionally send other crafted blankets like this one by Alex. A first try at patchwork.😁🥰
