Today, 6 of us joined a large group of ladies, and a few gents, on a walking trip at Much Wenlock. Sunny weather, not too hot, short or longer alternatives, followed by home made soup, lots of cake, and numerous cups of tea. Well done to the very efficient organisers.

A good turn out for our walk this month - six of us plus two dogs. We enjoyed a nice easy circular walk from Hook-a-Gate, mainly across field edges and woodland, with the traditional coffee stop of course !

We had our AGM meeting this evening with a cup for the monthly flower presentation, and a plate for the best arrangement in a tea-cup. Jayne was the star of the show, winning both presentations, closely chased by Linda and Pearl with their tea-cups.

Alex, Libby and Sue J recently joined a WI trip to visit the National Memorial Arboretum. This covers 150 acres and contains over 400 memorials to the Armed Forces, Emergency Services and civilian organisations. It was a very moving and interesting day (and the food in the cafe wasn't bad either !) Attached are a few photographs of our visit.
