On Sunday 6th September we invite you to celebrate Sedbergh People’s Hall 70th Anniversary! 🎊🌟🎉 10am-4pm
Including two historical Reenactments
BBQ food provided by the Dalesman
Cold food, cakes, hot, cold drinks & bar
Entertainment, music 🎶, kids games
Stalls of local history, arts, crafts & bakes (get in touch if you’d like to have a stall)

Sunday 13th September - 3pm onwards
Launch to Sedbergh Walking & Wellbeing Festival 14-20th.
Come & meet your local wellness providers - therapists, practitioners, teachers, facilitators, artists, crafters, growers &
FREET barefoot shoes from North Yorkshire 3-5pm followed by short talks then music 🎶 & singing from local artists 5-8pm with bar.

Please be aware that United Utilities will be carrying out essential works to install a new mains water pipe within the car park from Monday 22nd June.

To allow the contractors to begin work as planned, and to avoid any vehicles being blocked in, we kindly ask that no vehicles are left parked in the car park from the evening of Sunday 21st

The Hall itself will remain accessible throughout the works, although access routes and parking will be affected due to trench excavation within the car park.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and cooperation while the work is carried out.

We’d be really grateful if the owner of this car could move it from in front of the People’s Hall especially seeing as Tuesday nights are always busy with people parking for class, fish & chips & football. It has been there since last Thursday so time to move on, thank you 🙏🏼 If it’s broken down then please arrange for it to be towed away! 👍🏻

We’re on a roll at the People’s hall investing earnings, fundraising & some fabulous grants acquired thanks to Gill Baines (PH Grants officer, look out for details in her article in May’s Lookaround) & huge thank you to the charities who have donated. Latest addition is a baby changing unit in the disabled toilet near front entrance!! New commercial oven in the kitchen!! New carpet tiles donated by Treadwell flooring in the committee room (we paid for the fitting) & all the decorating so far (more to be done but good things take time!) - thank you Steven & Robbie Alderson! 🌟⭐️💫
Cinema 🎥 night this Saturday showing Hamnet, bar open from 6.30, film at 7.30! 🤩

The Hamnet film was requested last year so we had it on reserve so if you missed it at the cinema 🎥 enjoy it on your doorstep with added bar & cafe style set up! 🥂🌟
