We had some beautiful new faces smiling at us today at westcliff stay & play alongside our regular playful pals!
Emma somehow managed to turn it into a disco rave of which had all the youngsters up and dancing. Looking forwards to seeing you all again next week 🥳

Another fantastically busy morning at Sir John Mason House.
We welcomed Jo from NL Family/ North Lincolnshire Libraries who came to introduce our lovely mums to all the wonderful opportunities that NLincs can provide for 0-5 years

First Steps is no longer a female based team!!!!
Meet Karl our new volunteer 👋🏻 Whilst Karl may be new to First Steps he has a wealth of experience in volunteering.
Karl is a fantastic Youth Worker, providing a positive role model for the young people age 5+ since 2024.
He is also a facilitator for Andy’s Man Club, focusing on mental health support for men of all ages.
Having seen first hand the quality of support Karl selflessly offers to the community, we knew what an asset he is going to be to the team.

When Karl puts his superhero cape down he enjoys going to car shows, walking and socialising with friends.

“I knew for a long while that I wanted to be working in a role where I could help others. I feel that my own experiences and knowledge gained through my various roles will enable me to offer support to those that use the services offered by First Steps Forward, and hopefully lessening any potential barriers to dads reaching out for support. I am a big kid at heart so stay and play was great fun, although the girls may need to eat their weetabix to get me up off the floor 😊”

🤫 Karl collects retro toys, from 70’s fisher price, tonka through to model VW’s. He also listens to Chas n Dave!
(He is a little ancient himself 😂)

Stay and Play opens again tomorrow at Westcliff Community Centre 12-2pm.

It was lovely to see some of our families return to Sir John Mason House in Winterton today - and lots of new faces too!
Unfortunately we were in the small room, however as of next week we will be back in our normal room with all of the toys.
