What a privilege it was to be part of telling this wonderful story. 💛
Working alongside children, young people and the amazing residents of Baytree Court was such a joy. Through puppetry we were able to bring local history to life in a fun, creative and accessible way, celebrating the inspiring story of Salim Wilson and the rich heritage of our community.

One of the most memorable parts of the project was seeing the smiles, laughter and delight on people's faces as they met the puppets—and even had the chance to bring them to life themselves. Those moments of connection across generations were truly special and are something we'll treasure.

A heartfelt thank you to Cultural Futures for making this project possible through their generous funding, to The Dancing Tiger Scrapstore CIC for such a fantastic creative partnership, and to everyone at Baytree Court Care Home for welcoming us so warmly.

We are also incredibly grateful to Lois Albans-Heseltine from the Epworth Old Rectory for sharing her knowledge and helping us tell this important local story with authenticity and care.

We're so thankful to everyone who played a part in making this project such a meaningful celebration of creativity, history and community. ❤️
