What a special evening at IndepenDance ❤️
Last night we were joined by a film crew, as our wonderful organiser Kate O'Flynn has been selected as a finalist in the North Yorkshire Community Awards 2026! 🎉
As part of the awards, a short film is being made about IndepenDance, so there was a little bit of filming taking place during the evening.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, got involved and helped make the night so special. You were all amazing, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.
We also want to take a moment to say just how proud we are of Kate. The time, care, commitment and passion she puts into IndepenDance means so much to so many people, and this recognition is so well deserved.
Whatever the result in October, Kate will always be our winner. We are so proud of everything she has achieved and we love her very much. ❤️
