We know how much everyone loves a quiz.. so The Ocean Deck have organised an event with the one and only AJ Isle of Wight Entertainer for Friday 1st May..

£3pp this year is all about being early with our fund raising events to ensure we can make our Christmas fun day bigger and even better than last year.. and that was an amazing turn out with a much going on around the town🌟

🎉 Amazing News for Our Steph! 🎉

We are absolutely thrilled to share that Steph has been shortlisted as a FINALIST (one of just three!) in the Fundraising Award at the Vectis Radio Community Awards 🏆

Steph was nominated by myself and Lizzee (and others) because we truly believe she deserves recognition for everything she does for our community. Her dedication never goes unnoticed — even if she never asks for the spotlight.

Sandown Christmas Funday doesn’t just “come together” — it happens because Steph puts in countless hours of hard work, planning, fundraising, and heart. She is caring, kind, and always thinking about others before herself.

Steph is truly loved within the Sandown community, and we know many of you have seen firsthand the difference she makes.

We are over the moon to share today that Steph has been shortlisted into the final stages of the ‘Vectis Radio’s awards’ with the fundraiser award category with everyone’s help and votes💛

This year’s awards will be presented by the High Sheriff, Jacqueline Gazzard, with a number of new categories introduced for 2026.
