The willow labyrinth is growing nicely! It’s had a little bit of attention this week . Making some headway on its first prune and trim, with the grass raked back for a much needed cut . Thanks Des at Goat Crafts for all your help on Saturday and Mark for dodging the rain today and strimming the grass! . We hope everyone is enjoying the new addition to the park 🙂If you’d like to learn how to maintain the willow and help with pruning, please let us know in the comments below as we’ll be planning to do this in the coming weeks. ❤️

Very sadly all the herbs our volunteers put in one of the planters had been pulled out and dumped on the floor. Perhaps someone well-meaning thought they were 'weeds'. Or perhaps it has more to do with the number of cigarette butts on the floor😕 It's incredibly sad and frustrating when people's hard work is undone like this. The Friends group are committed to making the park an enjoyable space for everyone. The planters were installed last year as part of Sale Moor Community Partnership's urban garden project 😥
