It may be a bit showery at the moment but someone told me it is going to be a good summer. What could be nicer than bringing a picnic to one of our outdoor theatre events. The first is Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet', presented by The Duke's Theatre Company on Sunday 19 July at 4pm. Tickets available at https://www.thedukestheatrecompany.co.uk/

If you can't make that one then how about 'A Midsummer's Night Dream' brought to us by Folksy Theatre on Friday 28 August at 7pm. Tickets at https://ticketstripe.com/events/9431108747187369

Both events will be outdoors on the theatre lawn. Bring your own chairs or blanket and food and drink.

Today was a lovely day for some volunteer gardening. We have a gardening group that meet every Tuesday morning 10-12, and tackle a range of tasks, big and small, with something for everyone. There's also a workday on the last Saturday of every month, 10am - 1pm, with a break in the middle for tea, coffee and cake. Email us on [email protected] if you'd like to find out more.
