The centre is a community venue space for events, group activities, meetings, gatherings, fetes, fairs and parties etc., available for hire by prior arrangement. The large, main hall has an entrance foyer, accessed by a ramp. This foyer has a small cloakroom area and off the foyer is a newly equipped modern kitchen and two W.C.s, one of which has wheelchair access. The smaller Vyvyan Room has a c
orner kitchenette with facilities for tea/coffee making. There is a cloakroom area leading to a W.C. with wheelchair access. Several organisations hire the Centre on a regular basis providing a range of activities for all ages: from the toddler group to Cornish wrestling, from T'ai Chi to Zumba, from Guides and Brownies to yoga and Slimming World
The rooms can also be hired for one-off functions. We welcome enquiries and are keen to help event organisers in any way we can. We also run fund raising events including popular Bingo evenings and what has become a very popular café and art exhibition in August during the three day Harmoniemusik Festival held at the nearby Church. The Centre is at the heart of the towns community, so please help us to keep it beating!
