🌿🐾 Summer Club at RSPCA Cornwall! 🐾🌿

Looking for a fun and meaningful summer activity for animal lovers ☀️🐾

Our Summer Club for ages 8–11 are running throughout the school holidays, Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm!

Children will enjoy:
🐾 Animal-themed activities
🌼 Exploring and learning in our wildlife garden
🎨 Crafts, games & hands-on fun

A perfect mix of outdoor adventure, creativity, and animal fun! Spaces are limited, so book early to avoid missing out.

📍 Ages 8–11
🕘 Monday–Friday | 9am–3pm

Hi. I'm Bailey.

My hobbies include:
✔️ Zoomies at 100mph
✔️ Collecting cuddles
✔️ Looking ridiculously handsome
✔️ Making humans fall in love with me
✔️ Pretending I'm not spoiled

Current situation:
🏡 Living in foster care
💔 Still waiting for my forever family
🥹 Not entirely sure why

I sleep through the night, keep the house clean, love learning new tricks, and have been told I'm "an absolute joy to have around." (My foster family may be biased... but also they're right.)

You'll notice I wear a muzzle on walks. Don't worry – I'm not bothered by it one bit. In fact, I wear it like a total pro while I continue smashing my training goals around other dogs. I've already made amazing progress and just need humans who'll keep cheering me on. 🌟

I'd love a home where I can be your one and only furry sidekick, because honestly, sharing attention has never really been my thing.

If you've got room on your sofa, in your garden, and in your heart... I think we'd get along just fine. ❤️

Oh, and if my giant smile and ridiculously boopable nose haven't convinced you yet, I'm not sure what will. 👃🐾

🐾 Moments That Made Us Smile This Week 🐾

As a rehabilitation and rehoming centre, our days can sometimes be tough. Many of the animals that come to us have had difficult starts in life, so there can be hard moments along the way. But there are also so many wonderful, heartwarming moments that remind us why we do what we do 💙

Here are a few moments from this week that made us smile:

1. Simba LOVING his Doggy Day Out 💙
Simba had the best time exploring, sniffing, and enjoying some one-to-one adventure away from kennel life.

2. Rory and his favourite toy 💙
Nothing makes Rory happier than spending time with his beloved toy, and watching his playful side shine always makes us smile.

3. Freya loving life in her forever home 💙
Seeing Freya settled, happy, and thriving in her forever home is exactly what rescue is all about.

4. Mollie playing her favourite game of tug! 💙
Nothing beats a game of tug in Mollie's eyes, and she was having the time of her life showing off her playful side this week.

5. Leo making sure he gets all the head scratches 💙
Leo was busy charming everyone into giving him the fuss and head scratches he loves so much!

These moments may seem small, but for the animals in our care they mean the world. Every little step forward helps them on their journey towards finding their forever homes 💙

Meet Simba, a handsome 3-year-old English Bull Terrier with a huge personality and an even bigger heart.

Behind that cheeky smile is a clever, affectionate boy who loves learning, adventures, food, and spending time with his people. Like many Bull Terriers, Simba is full of character, enthusiasm, and plenty of goofy antics guaranteed to make you laugh.

Simba is making lovely progress with his training and is looking for a patient, understanding home that can continue helping him build confidence around other dogs. He'd prefer to be the only pet in the home so he can soak up all the love for himself. ❤️

🐾 Introducing Canine College 🐾

Ready to take your dog’s training into the real world? 🌍🐶

Canine College is our next-step training course designed for dogs who have completed puppy pre-school or already know the basics and are ready to build confidence and skills out and about in everyday life.

The course is run by our very knowledgeable Behaviour & Training Team Lead, Wale, using 100% positive training methods in small, supportive groups 💙

The first session will take place at our St Columb centre, followed by a different location across Cornwall each week to help your dog learn to generalise their training in real-life environments.

🐾 Happy Forever Home Friday, Tux! 🐾

We’ve had a lovely update from Tux, formerly known as Gonzo, and we couldn't be happier to see him settling into his new home so well. 💙

His family tell us that he is growing in confidence every day, becoming braver and starting to explore more of his surroundings. He's even discovered a love for playing in the pampas grass! 🌿😸

It's wonderful to see Tux enjoying his second chance and living the happy life he deserves.

We are urgently looking for a loving foster home for a pregnant Shepherd x Collie who has recently come into our care while an ongoing legal case is being resolved. She is due to give birth in very soon and deserves a safe, loving environment where she can feel secure and supported.

💔 She deserves so much more than giving birth in kennels.
We would love to find her a calm foster home where she can settle, safely give birth, and raise her puppies until they reach 8 weeks of age.

💛 What's involved?
🏡 A quiet, safe space for mum and puppies
🐶 Supporting mum as she raises her litter
🍼 Monitoring the puppies as they grow and develop
📸 Providing regular updates and photos to our team
🚗 Transporting mum and puppies to any necessary veterinary appointments
❤️ Plenty of patience, kindness, and reassurance

We'll provide all food, equipment, veterinary care, and ongoing support throughout the foster period.
