A) Satan is an accuser of the saints (see Rev. 12:10). He shows us our sins and brings us to despair. He tells us that this is the way we are and that there is no hope of change for us.

B) The Holy Spirit shows us our sins in the blessed floodlight of the finished work of the Cross. He tells us Jesus died for these sins and bore the punishment and that He lives and is willing to make us more than conquerors. He [Jesus] cleanses us with His blood and gives us victory. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (see Rev. 12:11).

Have you seen Sakib?

We are appealing for help to find 17-year-old Sakib who could be in the Kettering area after being reported missing from Nottingham on Saturday, August 1.

Sakib is about 5ft 7in, of a slim build, with short black hair and was last seen wearing a navy Nike tracksuit and black and white Nike trainers.

Officers are concerned for his safety and would like anyone who has seen Sakib, or knows of his whereabouts, to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting MPCN/2502/26.

Likewise, Sakib, if you are reading this, please contact us so we know that you are okay. You are not in trouble; we just want to make sure you are safe.

Please pray for traveling mercies as all those who will be travelling home today from the Big Church Festival.

We are looking for more volunteers to join us as Street Pastors in Rushden.

We offer full training, and uniforms.

We ask that you are a Christian who attends church on a regular basis.

So if you wish to be involved in helping your local community, regardless of their standing in life.
