⚠️ POLITE NOTICE AND HELP NEEDED – TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ONE OF OUR COMMMUNITY CENTRES IN THURNSCOE!
Unfortunately, due to water damage affecting the electrical room Houghton Road Community Centre have no choice but to temporarily close for the weekend and into next week (not sure yet until plumber and electricians can come from Waites as the building is owned by Berneslai Homes)
The committee sincerely apologises for the inconvenience this may cause to all our groups, businesses and regular users of the Centre.
They added “We really appreciate your patience and understanding while the situation is dealt with.
We hope to be back up and running as soon as possible. ❤️

Let’s support the centre in getting back on their feet soon, these volunteers have worked so hard over the past 6 months to modernise and get it to full capacity.
If anyone is available to help with supporting the Centre when it’s back up and running - donations for the Xmas raffle would really be appreciated to raise money for their much needed refurb that’s needed from the damage and replenishing of the welcome warm space coffee morning as all food has to be donated due to electrics been off for 2 days and more…
