Last night I also had the pleasure of awarding two Chief Scout Bronze Awards (long overdue!).

Edward & Henry joined our new Cub pack last year coming straight from a different Beavers group. They worked so hard to complete their Bronze awards in their first couple of months with us.

Since opening the doors to our new Tuesday
Cubs section last September, the cubs have been working incredibly hard, and we are absolutely thrilled to announce that two of our amazing Cubs have officially earned their Chief Scout's Silver Award!

This is the highest award a Cub can achieve, requiring loads of dedication, teamwork, and effort across seven different challenge badges.

A huge well done to Byron, who joined us in September and has worked relentlessly to complete his award in time to move up to Scouts - it has been a pleasure having you as part of our pack.

And a huge well done to James, who moved across from our Wednesday section when we started and brought his enthusiasm for scouting with him.

After a chaotic start thanks to the horrendous traffic, our Cubs finally made it to Buckmore Park for their Backwoods Cooking badge! Thank you so much to all the adults who helped tonight, especially our fellow leader Alex who we borrowed from Scouts to lead the fire 🔥
