We as a Club send our sincere condolences to all of Johns family & friends.
Both John & his late wife Liz were stalwarts of Rhayader Luncheon Club - with John achieving 20+ years of loyal service as a volunteer & latterly as a dishwasher operator who only hung up his tea towel last Xmas.
He will be sorely missed by us all.
RIP John

The funeral of the late John Lloyd will be held at Cwmdauddwr Church 2pm Monday 23rd March.

We remember and honour John as one of our much-loved and appreciated volunteer drivers at The Arches.

For over 25 years, he gave his time generously to our Community Car service, helping hundreds of local residents get to their hospital appointments, when they needed it most.

Always kind, dependable and willing to help, he was a valued member of our team and a familiar reassuring presence for so many passengers over the years.

His dedication to supporting others truly embodied the spirit of community volunteering, and his contribution has made a lasting difference to countless people.

We will remember him with gratitude and affection, and he will be greatly missed by everyone.

John, thank you for your many years of kindness, service and generosity to our community.

A Huge Thank you to today’s team of Cook, Volunteers & Servers who went above and beyond to serve a lovely lunch for our members .. despite the fact the dishwasher decided to break down this morning leaving us with double the work teams usually have!
True example of Teamwork to provide our usual seamless service for the Community.
