Great session on Saturday at the (thankfully air conditioned!) Woodhatch Community Centre. Our talented volunteers worked on (among other things) a lawnmower, a toaster, a radio, a hedge-trimmer, some huge roman blinds, a pair of trousers and a trendy jacket. Repairs were done, advice was given about spare parts, lots of tea was drunk and our visitors very generously donated £97 towards keeping the Repair Cafe going. Thank you everyone!

We repair most household things, including electricals, electronics bikes, clothing and toys.
We don’t charge, we do ask for a donation if you can give one and, if spare parts are needed, we will ask you to pay those costs.

Please book by filling in the form here: https://forms.gle/pETjERijRsZ93aKD7

We will be open 2-5pm, last bookings before 17.00 Thursday 21st May please.

We cant schedule precisely so please arrive near the start of your booking and expect to be with us for an hour; our apologies if its longer. You should get a booking confirmation by 20th May and certainly before the repair session. Please read our House Rules, which we will send with the booking confirmation; we will ask you to agree to these before we can help you.

We would appreciate any donation to support our work and the Woodhatch Community Association. If you can, our suggestions are £1 for taking a look and advising, £5 for a small repair and £10 (or more) for a larger repair or saving something valuable to you. If spare parts are needed, we will let you know what they will cost you. We prefer contactless payments but are grateful for anything that you can give in whatever way.

If you have booked into a session please do come but, if you really cant, or to ask questions, email us at [email protected]

Look forward to seeing you and helping to save your stuff!

Reigate Repair Cafe off to a positive start in its new home at Woodhatch Community Centre.

After 5 busy years at The Yard at Reigate Station and almost a 2 year break, it was time to evolve.

I was delighted to be there, and proud to wish it well and hand over the reigns to Chris. Many faces old and new turned out to volunteer, and as I walked away, on this lovely sunny day, I had the sense it will soon become an established part of our community.

Please support it folks. Dig out your cupboards for broken household items and clothing. Electrical, mechanical, minor carpentry, and textile repairs all possible.

Let’s continue to work together, to save you money and to reduce landfill.
