🌈 Calling all kind-hearted snack heroes! 🌈

Woodley Lunch Bunch is on the lookout for donations for the upcoming half term holiday 😋

PLEASE NOTE - we no longer wish to have individual juice drinks. Instead we’d love little squirty concentrated squashes.

♻️ Bonus feel-good factor: those concentrated squashes help us cut down on single-use plastics (win win!) and you can find them super easily at the Lidl and Aldi checkouts 🛒✨

We would also love to replenish our stock of mini raisins, and mini cheddars — small but mighty treats!

💛 You might also spot new donation boxes at some of the collection points listed below - some freshly replaced after a few had an adventurous escape during recent storms 🌬️😅

We would like to give a big THANK YOU to Woodley and Earley Lions for their lovely donation of 160 selection boxes for the children. The chocolate goodies will be delivered with their lunches in the Xmas holidays. Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to shop for them and deliver them to Emmanuel Church for us. Woodley Lunch Bunch welcomes the government’s decision to lift the two-child benefit cap — a long-awaited and hugely important step that will help ease the pressure on so many families in our community.

Many campaign groups and MPs including our MP, Yuan Yang, have been calling for this and we are pleased that the government has finally listened.

Here’s to a fairer future for all families. 💛

So excited to pop into Waitrose & Partners Woodley at the weekend and see that not only are their green tokens back, but that we are one of the 3 charities who have been chosen to receive up to £1,500!
