Chanya, community nurse and local superhero has been out and about on Oxford Road this week with Beautiful Creatures Theatre - she's met so many wonderful carers and nurses on her journeys.

Oxford Road – Who Cares?

Join Beautiful Creatures Theatre and a team of local creatives for an hour of music, dance and celebration of life along the Oxford Road in Reading.

Starting at the Broad Street Mall at 1pm come and meet Chanya, a 4m tall puppet, community nurse and local superhero – handing out messages of wellbeing and care to all those that she finds.

Hear music from local DJ Maynard and singer Nichole Thelma Grace, learn carnival rhythms with Go Dynamite and dance moves with MCDC. Take part in giant flag making before we head off for a parade around the block.

Join us for the Oxford Road Giant Parade and let’s seek out and celebrate all those who care about our community together.

TAKE PART - Come along to a free Drumming & Percussion Workshop on Sunday 17th March 11am-12.30pm @ Oddfellows Hall on the Oxford Road and practice your rhythms before the BIG day! email [email protected] for info and to sign up.
