Started on the 18th of August 2012, we set out to be a new innovative, creative and exciting charity shop. We provide work experience for people with disabilities by employing them within the shop. Mentoring and teaching them work related tasks to help with their CVs and show their capabilities. Located at the top of Rayleigh High Street:

We had such a lovely evening at Manzano Lounge in Rayleigh, getting everyone together to celebrate some very special birthdays — including **Phab Shop’s birthday!** 🎂💜

Good food, lots of laughs, plenty of smiles and a brilliant chance for everyone to relax and enjoy some time together outside of our usual activities.

A big thank you to the team at Manzano Lounge for looking after us, and to everyone who came along and made it such a fun evening! 🥰

Today marks 14 years since the Phab Shop first opened its doors! 💜

Over those 14 years, the shop has become so much more than just a charity shop. It’s been a place for people to gain experience, build confidence, make friends, learn new skills and feel part of something.

A huge thank you to every volunteer, trainee, customer, supporter and friend who has been part of the Phab Shop over the years. We genuinely couldn’t have reached 14 years without you.

Here’s to 14 years of the Phab Shop - and hopefully many more to come! 🥳💜

🎨🌙 **PHAB EVENING IN OLD LEIGH!** 🌙🎨

We had such a lovely Phab Evening on Wednesday, getting creative down in **Old Leigh**!

We tried our hand at **texture printing**, using things we found around us to create different patterns and impressions, along with **play dough, ink pads and notebooks**. It was great fun experimenting with all the different textures and seeing what everyone came up with! 🍃🪵🖌️

And to make the evening even more special, we also managed to get some **great views of the eclipse** while we were there! 🌙✨

A really relaxed, creative evening with a little bit of something different — just what Phab Evenings are all about. 💜

This week we took on a Photography Challenge down at Southend Seafront with one simple brief – pick a colour and capture it! 📸🎨

Armed with a mix of cameras and mobile phones, our members set off to see just how many shades and surprises they could find. The result? These fantastic colour collages, each one showing a unique perspective and proving that creativity isn't about the equipment you use, but the way you see the world.

We love how the same challenge produced such different results, with every collage telling its own colourful story.

✨ A fresh new look for the Phab Shop! ✨

We’re so pleased with our newly painted frontage and beautiful new front door, giving the shop a fresh and welcoming new look for everyone who visits.

A huge thank you to Brad from Kings of Carpentry for his fantastic workmanship – we’re absolutely delighted with the result! 👏

And a special thank you to Rochford District Council for funding these improvements through their Shop Front Improvement Scheme, helping local businesses and community organisations thrive.

A massive thank you to the amazing crew at the Pioneer Trust for giving our Phab Life members such a brilliant day out in Brightlingsea 💙

Days like this mean so much to Phab Life, giving our members the chance to enjoy new experiences, build friendships and make lasting memories together. We had an absolutely fantastic time and truly appreciate everything you did to make the day so special 🌊☀️
