It's that time of the year again when the nights are dark. If you are a lady who runs on your own then you might be feeling like you are limited in the evenings. That's where a running club like Amigos Running Club Ladies comes in. We run together as a group and all paces are welcome. Mondays and Thursdays are at a slower pace. Tuesdays slightly faster. The best thing about the club is the wonderful ladies that run with the club. Watch the video for more information. Drop me a message as I personally run this club 😊💜

Work to improve Fairview Recreation Ground will start next week and is expected to be completed by the end of December, weather permitting.

The project includes resurfacing and renewing all four existing tennis courts to help ensure they remain a great facility for local people for years to come.

The sports area next to the play area will also be upgraded with a brand-new Multi Use Games Area, creating more opportunities for football, basketball and other informal sports. The new facility will include modern surfacing, line markings and fencing.

As part of the improvements, sections of the existing chain link fencing will be removed to open up views across the picnic area and create a more welcoming space for visitors.

New outdoor fitness equipment will also be installed, giving people more opportunities to stay active.

🚫 For everyone's safety, please follow all signage, keep clear of barriers and stay out of work areas while the improvements are underway.
