We would like to wish all our friends a very Merry Christmas.

Here are a few pictures from our Christmas celebrations. Thank you to Primrose Hill primary school for the beautiful singing at our group and for inviting a few of us to your Christmas Community Concert.

At our last group for 2025 we were joined by Luxulele who got us all into the Christmas spirit. They joined us for a wonderful buffet supplied by Jack Dammes Ltd.

New members are always welcome, if you have a diagnosable eye condition and live in LS28 or surrounding area please contact us.

We recently had a talk from the lovely Sarah from the Yorkshire Chocolatier. She talked about the process of chocolate making and how she made the jump from a professional job to fulfilling her dream of being a chocolatier.
We got to taste some samples and had the opportunity to buy from the selection of different flavours of chocolates she produces.

We recently made a donation and sponsored three puppies from Guide dogs for the Blind.
Following on from this we were lucky to be visited by a volunteer from the charity and her dog "Oasis". She gave a really informative talk on the work involved and the cost to train a puppy to be a qualified guide dog.
Our members really enjoyed the talk and loved meeting "Oasis"
