Pudsey Community Project

Pudsey Community Project P*P exists to transform Pudsey and it's surrounding areas, with & for the local community, especially those who are most vulnerable and disadvantaged.

We operate a foodbank, pantry, kids' clothes scheme, youth work, seniors' lunch club & repair cafe.

We're all about listening to our local community and this time we need to hear from you about health! We've been supported by HealthWatch and the NHS to get the views of local people on how you'd shape how health services are organised and delivered in your neighbourhood.
It's a really quick survey online with the below link - and although we're inviting all people who are living in West Leeds (the council wards of Pudsey, Calverley/Farsley and Bramley/Stanningley), we'd especially love to hear from you if you consider you have multiple health conditions including long term conditions, disabilities or mental health concerns. It's completely anonymous and we're hoping it will be the start of embedded listening for neighbourhood health in this area. Please fill it in (and anyone you know!) at:

Listening to West Leeds: What matters to you in your neighbourhood Introduction Pudsey Community Project is working with Healthwatch Leeds to ensure that you can shape how health services are organised and delivered in your neighbourhood. It's LS28 Repair Cafe time again today at Pudsey Community Project! (Fartown, Pudsey LS28 8LP) - Saturday 23rd May2-5pm (remember as always - last entry 4.20pm).
We have a team of general/electrical fixers including offering minor clothes repairs/alterations, lamps, ornaments, garden equipment, electricals, toys, small kitchen appliances etc - if you're unsure if we can fix it, bring it along and let us see! No bike repairs/servicing this month, and please bear with us as we have a slightly smaller team this month with some new volunteer fixers :-)
If you have a faulty item we will try and fix it and if you have the parts then we will fit them for free (but please leave a generous donation so we can keep this event going!).
Please note, all fixers are volunteers and we can make no promises as to whether things can be repaired!
There will be lovely refreshments available while you wait.
Just come along from 2pm.
Many thanks for supporting this local initiative every fourth Saturday of the month to bring together the community, impact the environment and try and reduce household costs!

We're hugely grateful for the generous people who have supported our appeal so far - just a week in we are 20% of the way to our goal. Please give what you can to help us through our cashflow crunch this summer and make sure we can continue our services/activities - to help us avoiding having to close some or all of our activities as early as the summer holidays.
All the details are in the video.

Please do not leave donations outside our building when we are not open - it’s happened four times in the past couple of weeks early in the morning and results in disposal costs and a lot of time wasted, especially when items are rained on and spoilt. We are open Monday to Saturday 10am-12 as well as Wednesday 6-8pm for donations when we’d love to see you.
Please don’t dump things on our doorstep - it’s flytipping!
Also please note we don’t accept used toy donations as we don’t have storage and it just means we have to take them to a charity shop or the tip instead of our charity work - thanks!
