Choose to Reuse this winter! Join us THIS SATURDAY AFTERNOON 2-5pm at Pudsey Community Project (corner of Fartown and Carlisle Road, LS28 8LP) for our annual Winter Coat Event for birth to teens, plus some adult coats.

We have over 600 coats, fleeces and onesies ready for you to choose from - we've been storing donations over spring and summer and they're now checked and sorted by our amazing volunteer teams ready to put out in our main hall on Saturday.

Invite your friends, family, school and toddler groups - make a difference by keeping warm in a sustainable way this winter by reusing coats and fleeces.

All coats are free, one winter coat per family member please, strictly no reselling. We are thankful for cash/card donations to help us cover our running costs and to go towards our charity.

If you're travelling here by car there's plenty of on-street parking but please be considerate of our neighbours - don't block driveways or park on the corner of any junctions. There's quieter on-street parking by the woodland area on Carlisle Drive which is just up the road.

What a brilliant night at our latest West Leeds SOUP! Thank you to everyone who came along, shared a bowl of soup, listened to the pitches and cast their vote.

Together we supported three fantastic local causes, the prize pot shared between all three according to the votes:

💛 MHA
💛 St John's Stanningley Luncheon Club

What is West Leeds SOUP?!
* It's a community gathering to change the locality for the better by hearing about local initiatives and getting small pots of funding to them.
* You book in (free) at www.pudseycommunity.org.uk/soupbooking so we have an idea of numbers
* You turn up - Friday 2 Oct 6.30 for 7pm - and make a donation to the pot (suggested £5-10) by card or cash
* We eat freshly made soup, and bread and some sweet treats (drinks also available for a charity donation) and we chat and meet some new neighbours
* Three people or groups give a short intro to their work and its value to the West Leeds community
* We vote! And the funding pot is divided accordingly between the three causes (none leaving empty handed)
And that's it! Fun, simple, making real small differences to local community and eating soup! There were 20 people last time - we'd love to see 30 on Friday night. Book a free seat now and bring your friends!
