This carer’s week, we want to take a moment to celebrate the work and brilliance of our team who are always at the heart of what we do.
The cups of tea, the hand on a shoulder, the conversations and the cheeriness you bring to people’s lives. All of this does not go unnoticed.
To every carer who shows up with energy, a smile and love for what they do. We are so proud of you and so grateful for everything you do. Happy carer’s week!

To our amazing carers, and carers everywhere, thank you! 💜

This Carers Week, we’re celebrating the compassion, patience, and dedication that carers show every single day. The support you provide changes lives, brings comfort, and helps people remain safe and independent at home.

We see the hard work you do, and we appreciate every moment of it. 👏

If something doesn’t feel right with your loved one’s care, trust your gut.

Every family has the right to speak to a social worker. No questions asked.

They will carry out a financial assessment, talk you through your options, and if needed, guide you to a new care provider.

You don’t have to stay somewhere that isn’t working. You just need to know your rights.

At Leading Care Lancashire, we believe every person deserves care that actually feels right — not just care that’s available.

If you or someone you know is in this situation, drop us a message and we will point you in the right direction.

Movement matters! From Global Running Day to Bike Week later this month, June is a great reminder of how important exercise is for both body and mind.

We support our clients to stay as active as possible with gentle walks, getting out into the fresh air, or simply encouraging movement as part of daily routines. 🏃

Staying active helps support independence, confidence, and wellbeing!

June highlights two important topics, National Safety Month and Men’s Health Month.

At Leading Care Lancashire, keeping our clients safe and healthy is at the heart of everything we do. From medication support and mobility assistance to wellbeing checks and companionship, our carers are trained to provide safe, person-centred care every day. 👨‍⚕️

We also encourage regular check-ups, healthy routines, and open conversations around men’s physical and mental health.

Because good care means looking after the whole person. 💙

🥗 Good nutrition is the foundation of good health.

On World Nutrition Day, we’re proud to put our training into practice, supporting clients with balanced, nutritious meals tailored to their needs and preferences. 🍽️

From meal planning to preparation, our carers help make healthy eating simple and enjoyable. Because food is more than fuel! It’s comfort, culture, and care!

♿ Accessibility isn’t optional, it’s essential.

On Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we’re proud to support many clients who use wheelchairs or require additional mobility support.

From adapting homes to assisting with daily routines, our carers help make everyday life more accessible, comfortable, and independent.

Care should work for you... not the other way around. 💙

Dementia care is one of the hardest kinds of care to get right. Always double check who your carers are, and make sure they understand the whole story and knows how to deal with it.
That's the standard we hold ourselves to.
