Tribal Project

Tribal Project Tribal Project is your local charity dedicated to helping people recover from substance misuse.

We offer free, independent, and confidential support, providing the guidance you need to make a real difference in your life. Tribal Project is a registered UK charity based in Preston, Lancashire, dedicated to supporting individuals in recovery from substance misuse and associated mental health challenges. As a free and local service, we are proud to be a charity "for the people, by the people,"

rooted in the heart of our community and driven by the lived recovery experiences of our staff and volunteers. For over a decade, we have empowered hundreds of individuals to move away from crisis and toward balanced, fulfilling lives. We provide various support services, including crisis intervention, recovery and life skills training, volunteering opportunities, and pathways to work experience. We are committed to developing innovative recovery programs tailored to the needs of those facing challenges from various substances. Through education, skill-building, and social integration, we help individuals connect with their communities and unlock opportunities for brighter futures. With a non-judgmental, person-centred approach, Tribal Project creates a safe and supportive environment where everyone can find connection, belonging, and purpose. At Tribal Project, we believe in the power of community and recovery. We provide a platform for people to rebuild their lives, achieve their best future, and break the stigma surrounding substance misuse.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that mental health matters every single day, not just when things become overwhelming.

1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem each year yet many still struggle in silence through fear, stigma or feeling like they have to โ€œjust get on with itโ€.

At Tribal Project we believe nobody should have to face things alone. Whether someone is struggling with mental health, isolation, anxiety, low mood or simply feeling lost relating to substance misuse, support and connection can make all the difference.

Sometimes the bravest thing a person can do is talk.
Sometimes recovery starts with being heard.
Sometimes hope begins with one conversation.

This month, check in with yourself.
Check in with others.
Be kind.
Listen without judgement.
And remember, healing is not always linear, but every step forward counts.

You are not alone. Change is possible ๐Ÿ’›
