Biggleswade Sandy Lions are part of Lions Clubs International, a volunteer organisation with 1.35 million members in over 200 countries.

Lions Clubs are an International global organisation tackling local community & global needs with heart (and a bit of fun!)
1.4 million members worldwide, from vision screenings, disaster relief, fetes, speech nights, annual jumble sale and so much more! We Serve:

All the communities between Biggleswade, Sandy, Potton, Clifton, Gamlingay, Moggerhanger, Clifton and Stotfold

Who are we? Lions are men and women of all ages from all walks of life who give time to serve those less fortunate than themselves in the local and world-wide community
Our Members have a wide range of skills available in a club that comprises members from various backgrounds, a tremendous asset when tackling Fundraising or Community service projects. How we work:
To finance our projects we raise funds by organising and running events such as Concerts, Race Nights, Bookstalls, Stands at fairs, Christmas Sleigh Runs, Car Boot Sales , Coffee Mornings and Social Evenings. Our fundraising is undertaken with an air of enjoyment and fun. This is important as it contributes to the overall success of the event and a feeling of well-being in having been involved and been one of the team. All visitors are most welcome

Biggleswade Sandy Lions is run by volunteers as are all Lions Clubs

Being a volunteer is the hardest, most thankless task. But helping people makes it all worthwhile.

So thank you to all the volunteers who help make Biggleswade Sandy Lions what it is.
